Building Code Requirements in Thüringen
Thuringia's ThürBO sets a 2.40 m minimum room height (2.20 m in a roof space), confirmed in §47.
Thüringen’s building law is the Thüringer Bauordnung (ThürBO), currently in force.
Minimum room height (lichte Raumhöhe): 2.40 m, set in §47 ThürBO. In a roof space, the figure reduces to 2.20 m over at least half the room’s net floor area.
Your LBO also sets boundary setbacks (Abstandsflächen), guard/parapet (Umwehrung) heights, and permit-free (verfahrensfrei) thresholds for garages and carports — none of these were independently confirmed for Thüringen, so confirm them directly in the ThürBO text on landesrecht.thueringen.de before you build to a number.
