Refund & Cancellation Policy (Web)

This Policy applies to subscriptions purchased directly on our website (Web Subscriptions). If you bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds and cancellations are handled by that store (App Store Subscriptions)—see §6.

1) Refunds

  • No change-of-mind refunds and no prorated refunds/credits for partial periods or unused time unless required by law.
  • Teams: No refunds or credits for unused seats or mid-term seat reductions (see §3) unless required by law.
  • If a duplicate charge or billing error occurs, email Support at Chippy.Tools promptly; we’ll investigate and correct if confirmed.
  • Where mandatory laws give you a right to a refund or price reduction (e.g., under the Australian Consumer Law), we will honour that right.

2) Cancelling your subscription

  • You can cancel any time via Chippy Tools Account Management or in-app/account settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period; access continues until then.
  • Teams: Only the Team Owner/Admin can cancel a Team plan. Cancellation ends the Team plan at the period end; member removals alone do not cancel or trigger refunds.
  • Uninstalling an app or ceasing use does not cancel—please use the cancellation path above.

3) Seat changes & plan changes (Teams)

  • Adding seats / upgrading: May be charged pro-rata for the remainder of the current term or billed immediately for the next term (as shown before you confirm).
  • Removing seats / downgrading: Takes effect from the next renewal. No refunds or credits are provided for unused time or unused seats unless required by law.

4) Non-payment

  • If payment fails, we may suspend access (including for the entire Team) and continue to attempt to bill your saved payment method(s).
  • Persistent non-payment may result in termination.

5) Cooling-off (EU/UK, if applicable)

If you’re entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, you can withdraw within 14 days unless you requested immediate supply, in which case charges may apply for the period used or the right may be lost once full supply begins.

6) App Store Subscriptions (Apple/Google)

If you subscribed via Apple or Google, please request refunds and manage cancellations through the relevant store. We cannot process these on your behalf.

7) How to request a refund (where legally required)

Email Support at Chippy.Tools with your account email, invoice ID and reason. We may request additional information to assess your request.

8) Consumer guarantees & mandatory rights

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other mandatory consumer laws that apply to you.

9) Governing law and jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Except where mandatory consumer laws in your country entitle you to bring proceedings in your local courts, you and we agree that the courts of Queensland, Australia, have exclusive jurisdiction (including courts hearing appeals).
