Subscription Terms (Web)

These Subscription Terms apply to subscriptions purchased directly on our website (each a Web Subscription). If you bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, cancellations and refunds are handled by that store (App Store Subscriptions)—see §13.

1) Plans, pricing and taxes

1.1. Plan inclusions and current pricing are shown before you pay. 1.2. Taxes (e.g., GST/VAT/sales tax) are shown at checkout based on your billing details. 1.3. We may change prices or plan features; changes take effect from your next renewal. We will give reasonable notice where required.

2) Term, auto-renewal and authority to charge

2.1. Web Subscriptions run for the plan period you choose (e.g., monthly or annual) and auto-renew for successive periods until you cancel. 2.2. By starting a Web Subscription you authorise recurring charges of the then-current price (plus applicable taxes) to your saved payment method at each renewal.

3) Cancellation

3.1. You can cancel at any time via Chippy Tools Account Management or in-app/account settings. 3.2. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. No refunds or credits are provided for unused time unless required by law.

4) Trials, introductory prices and promotions

4.1. Any stated trial/intro period and price applies once per account unless we say otherwise. 4.2. After a trial/intro period, the standard price applies unless you cancel before renewal. 4.3. Promotion-specific rules may apply—see any Promotion Terms linked in the offer.

5) Payment failures

5.1. If a payment fails, we may retry your payment method(s) and suspend access until payment is made. 5.2. If payment remains outstanding after our retry window, we may terminate the subscription.

6) Team Accounts & Plans

6.1. Team Accounts. Certain plans allow a Team (an organisation account with multiple users). A Team has one Owner (or another nominated Admin) who manages billing, seats and members. 6.2. Seats & members. Each user who accesses paid features requires a seat. You are responsible for inviting/removing members and for all activity on your Team. 6.3. Billing responsibility. The Team Owner/Admin is the customer of record and is responsible for all fees, taxes and compliance with these terms. 6.4. Adding seats / upgrading. Additional seats or plan upgrades may be charged pro-rata for the remainder of the current term or billed immediately for the next term (as shown at checkout). 6.5. Removing seats / downgrading. Reductions take effect from the next renewal. No refunds or credits are given for unused time or unused seats unless required by law. 6.6. Ownership & transfer. You may transfer Team ownership using the controls we provide. Until a transfer completes, the current Owner/Admin remains responsible for the account. 6.7. Suspension. If the Team’s payment fails, we may suspend access for the entire Team until payment is made. 6.8. Acceptable use. You must not share seats or otherwise circumvent seat limits or usage caps. We may apply fair-use and anti-abuse controls.

7) Account management & self-serve controls

7.1. You can manage billing, plan changes, seats and cancellation via our web account settings. 7.2. Uninstalling an app or ceasing use does not cancel your subscription—please use the cancellation path in §3.1.

8) Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes apply from your next renewal (or sooner where required by law). Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the update.

9) Acceptable use

Use Chippy Tools in line with our Terms of Use; do not share accounts, scrape, or circumvent limits.

10) Consumer guarantees & mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other mandatory consumer laws that apply to you.

11) Cooling-off (EU/UK only)

If you are in the EU/UK and buy a Web Subscription, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right. If you ask us to begin immediately and access the service straight away, you acknowledge the right may be lost once full supply begins (otherwise we may charge for the period used).

12) Privacy

We process personal information under our Privacy Policy.

13) App Store Subscriptions (Apple/Google)

If you subscribed via Apple or Google:

  • Manage billing, cancellations and refunds through your app-store account.
  • The store’s terms apply for those transactions.

We cannot cancel or refund App Store Subscriptions—please use the relevant store tools.

14) Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Except where mandatory consumer laws in your country entitle you to bring proceedings in your local courts, you and we agree that the courts of Queensland, Australia, have exclusive jurisdiction (including courts hearing appeals).
